Born Again.

No, not a born again Christian; but a born again photographer! :D

Finished with school. All I have now is my job and my camera... and maybe something else. Who knows?

Anyway, in February I'm going to FOCUS 2009! [link]
Should be a good time. So hopefully I have a new body by then (18th birthday soon). And besides, my stupid D40 has a messed up sensor - there are a few "dead photosites". I have no idea how it happened...

Also, the guy I'm going to FOCUS with is getting a D3! Can't wait to play with that bad-boy! Wonder if he'll sell me his D2Xs for really cheap. :fingerscrossed:

So a list of potential additions to my gear by 2009:

Nikon D2Xs. (praying to hell!)
Sigma 4.5mm f/2.8 Circular Fisheye. (they serve almost no purpose, but they're cool)
Nikon SB-800 with a PocketWizard.
General lighting gear.

Since I've not been here since September (?) I'll give a brief of my life since then. Got a job in Domino's Pizza - make pizzas... not much to say. Failed my prelims. Got denied from all but one course I applied for in uni - which turns out to be my back-up's back-up. Found out I need 3 Bs to get in. possible failed my exams - hence no Bs. Id est, no uni. So I could be stuck in a pizza shop forever. :( On a more optimistic side, I've picked up the camera again! :D And, I've made up with a friend who I'd thought I'd never talk to again! :w00t:

Hey Glascow... Nice gallery. My bad that I haven't visited sooner.

You know the Huntarian Museum? I've got a good friend who runs the Ed Office there. Does a lot of VR photography that's used in educational materials. He also taught me how to drink single-malt and why Easties are Beasties and Westies are Besties... ;P

I've only heard of it; still to visit. If I get accepted in GSA then I'll have no excuse not to go. :D

I definitely need to give VR a go... after I do a decent panorama, of course.
